Description
This sideboard was designed by Tom Robertson of AH McIntosh in the late 1950s. It was bought in Stirling in 1960 as a wedding present for my parents. As you can see from the images it is in near perfect condition and has never had any work carried out on it.
The sideboard is presented in two sections. There are three drawers on the left with the top one sectioned for cutlery. On the right there is a cabinet enclosed by two plain doors.
Materials
According to an early McIntosh Catalogue the sideboard is made from Mahogany with Rose Zebrano fronts inlaid with Rosewood.
